Rack, Samples, & Pan Dulce

One more item checked off my list of bike modifications!
A friend and I custom fit a back rack to my bike and put on some fancy vintage San Francisco made panniers. I had a back rack on my old bike and really missed the convenience of it when I bought my new bike. I am excited to have one again. It really helps take the stress off my back when I can pile my heavy items on to the rack instead of my messenger bag. And the cherry on top? Both the rack and the panniers match my bike!

After work today I petaled my way over to the south side of the Mission to drop off some sample submissions for the upcoming Underground Market . If you get a chance to stop by, I'll be selling my recycled bike inner tube earrings (at a discount) and quite possibly my homemade flax crackers as well. This is going to be awesome!

On my way back to BART I rode down 24th street past my favorite Mexican Sweet Bread shop "La Victoria" and couldn't help but to stop in for some delicious Pan Dulce. I'm not sure what it is but every time I ride past this place I HAVE to stop in. I went straight for the "day old" section and got myself a bag of 3 tasty treats for a buck. Can't beat that!

  1. I love Mexican treats! One of my faves is the drink, horchata. Oh it is tasty!
