I found this little gal crawling in my bed (I found out all stick bugs are girls). How did she get there you ask? I'm not too sure.
The only thing I can figure is that she crawled on my back while I was out for a stroll, then hopped off to explore when I got home and sat on my bed.
What ever happened, it was quite a shock to see a stick bug at all, let alone one crawling around in my sheets. I was tempted to keep her as a pet but decided she would be much happier roaming the neighborhood than cooped up with me.

I love walking stick bugs! We get HUGE ones around here and watch them endlessly.
ReplyDeleteAw. I didn't know they were girls
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! What a funny little bug but as far as bugs go, totally cute. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere do you live to have walking sticks in January!
ReplyDeleteCalifornia :) I've been walking around all day in a t-shirt and no shoes on. Gotta love the SF Bay area.
ReplyDeleteWow, very cool!
