A New Brooks Saddle & handle bar grips to match.

While I was away visiting family last week, Dan ordered a surprise for me which just arrived. I opened the box and found a brand spankin new Brooks saddle, womans in honey. I have been wanting one of these for quite some time. How lucky am I?!
Not only that, but he also got and installed a kickstand (which I have been without for quite some time) and a new seat post. My old post was really worn and the seat began sliding around a bit as I rode.
I took my new seat out for a spin and am totally in love (with the seat and Dan :). It's amazing the difference it makes, having a seat that actually fits you.

In honor of my new saddle, I decided to give my bike some new matching handle bar grips. They are just some fabric trim held on with innertube rubberbands but they will do until I can find some more perminant grips. These things take time.

My bum is happy :)
