Dan and I have a slight obsession with succulents (as you may have noticed in this post). While wondering around town we often can be found pinching off tiny cuttings to take home and root. The other day while walking about, I strayed from my normal path and stumbled upon this beautiful succulent garden in front of an apartment building.
After about 15 minuets of closely examining every plant in the garden I pinched off a few cuttings then headed home. When ever I collect cuttings I make a point of never taking from the original plant. I pinch off the offshoots that grow so nothing is missed. Ideally I take pieces that look out of place or too crowded as well.
Rooting your own cuttings of succulents is pretty easy. Check out this guide to get yourself started.
