Oakland/Berkeley Weekend Events

There is a lot going on this weekend starting a little bit early (Tonight). Go out and get your weekend on!

Thursday: (Dec 2nd)
Shop and Support to benefit Peoples Grocery
7-10pm

"Join us Thursday, December 2nd, for a fun-filled night eating great food from local farms, shopping from Bay Area merchants and artisans and supporting our efforts to improve the food system in Oakland and beyond.

Along with delicious light fare from Summer Kitchen and wine tastings from Vintage Berkeley, artisans and merchants will be donating 10% of their sales for the evening to People's Grocery.

Sunday: (Dec 5th)
*Pop-up Pot Luck!
This will be a two-part event. Join Rock Paper Scissors Collective for a pot luck from 1-2pm, then stick around for a workshop on making pop-up cards from 2-4pm. You will learn a few basic folds and techniques that you can apply to cards, books, zines... anything you'd like. No experience required, and children over 10 are absolutely welcome.

The potluck is a free event, and if you decide to stick around for the class at 2pm it will be $10-$15 sliding scale.
