Succulents AND a free lunch!!! I heart Oakland!

If you are in or around Oakland, CA and a succulent lover then tomorrow, Saturday July 24th, will be as exciting for you as it is for me.

My favorite low water nursery "Garden Hortica" is having an Open House!
They have amazing deals on succulents. 4" pots are 3 for $5 (they even have fancy hard to find succulents like string of pearls) as well as Lithops in 2" pot for $3.00. Fruiting tomatoes 5-gal for $8 ea or 3 for $20. There are many other succulents and cacti for sale too.

Anyway, enough with the sales pitch. The best part is that they will be having a free BBQ for everyone who attends. All the hamburgers and hotdogs you can eat ladies and gents. Last time they even had cupcakes, chips, kettle corn, lemonade, and other tasty treats.
