This past weekend was the Annual Plant Sale at the Edible Schoolyard in North Berkeley. Since the inside of our house is just about done for the time being we have begun thinking more and more about the garden. Our starts are being attacked by aphids, so we headed over to the sale to get some edible plants to attract lady bugs and other healthy bugs to come help us with the problem. I of course insisted what ever plants we got had to be edible, as I have always dreamt of a fully edible garden. The sale didn't disappoint. We got some great advice and loaded up on dill, yarrow, sage, parsley, and thyme. This years garden is going to rock! I can't wait to have a grocery store in my own backyard.
