Bump in the road

This morning started out a bit rough for me. I spent way to much time in bed, didn't shower, and had to run off to work with out any breakfast (not a very good idea for my-ever hungry-self). Then, while sitting on the BART train, staring at my bike I noticed something strange on my front tire. Leaning in closer I saw this:
a nice big hole in the side of my tire with the tube popping through. Obviously I didn't feel very safe riding on that tire so I ended up having to walk to work from BART. Not terrible but it throws off my time a bit. I guess now I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just purchase actual new tires instead of used ones. Those used ones are nuthin but trouble.

On a positive note, a good friend of mine took me out to lunch and my sweet ending provided me with this ray of sunshine
